OUR STORY
Coastal Engineering with a Regional Perspective
Led by coastal engineer James Lewis, Intercoastal brings more than 15 years of experience delivering coastal engineering, climate adaptation, surfing amenity and maritime infrastructure projects throughout Australia and the Pacific.
Intercoastal specialises in helping governments, communities and development partners address complex coastal challenges through practical, evidence-based engineering solutions. From major Australian infrastructure projects to climate adaptation initiatives across Small Island Developing States, we work to strengthen coastal resilience while responding to the unique environmental, social and economic context of every project.
Combining technical expertise with a practical understanding of coastal processes, stakeholder needs and project delivery, Intercoastal develops tailored solutions that are technically robust, environmentally appropriate and designed for long-term resilience.
